Terms & Conditions
Last updated: February 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Resonance ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Resonance is a free platform where users share personal memories associated with songs. The Service allows you to submit text-based memories, react to others' memories with emojis, and view YouTube video embeds related to songs.
3. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you submit ("User Content"). By submitting content, you grant Resonance a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display your content on the platform.
You agree not to submit content that:
- Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, or defamatory
- Contains hate speech or discriminatory language
- Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
- Contains personal information of others without their consent
- Is spam, advertising, or promotional material
- Contains malicious links or code
4. Content Moderation
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or that we deem inappropriate, without prior notice. Users may report content using the flag feature on each memory card.
5. No Account Required
Resonance does not require user accounts. Submissions are anonymous by default, with an optional display name. Because no accounts exist, submitted content cannot be edited or deleted by users after submission. To request content removal, please contact us.
6. Third-Party Services
Resonance integrates with third-party services including YouTube (video embeds), Last.fm (music search), and Google Analytics (usage analytics). Your use of these embedded services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Resonance and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
10. Contact
For questions about these terms or to request content removal, please contact us.
